Swimming Pools

The South Waikato has a year-round heated Indoor swimming pool facility located in Tokoroa and other seasonal outdoor pools operating over the summer.

The South Waikato District also has two seasonal pools located in Putāruru & Tīrau,

Putāruru Pools are located at 84 Reservoir Street, Putāruru.
Tīrau Pools are located at 11 Goodwin Street, Tīrau.

These outdoor pools are open during the summer season.

Tīrau summer pools are located at Goodwin Street reserve, adjacent to the Tīrau Play centre and Primary School. Built-in 1980, the complex contains a 25 x 12 metre outdoor pool and a toddlers pool. There are shaded spectator bleachers, grassed areas and changing rooms.
