Community Leisure Facilities
Council is pleased to provide a range of leisure facilities and services to its community.
We have a number of community halls across the district that are available for hire. We have two libraries - one in Tokoroa and a second library in Putāruru (doubles as the Putāruru council office). We also run a library outreach programme called LibraryLink for our Tīrau community. The South Waikato Sport and Events Centre is our premier sport and functions facility. We have the Tokoroa Indoor Heated Pools and two outdoor seasonal pools that are open during summer.
