PUBLIC NOTICE - Fees and Charges 2023-24
Click here to go to the consultation page for documents and submission forms.
The consultation period for the Fees and Charges (F&Cs) 2023-24 is now open, closing on Friday 28 April 2023.
Council set the majority of its fees in 2021, during the Long Term Plan 2021-31 process. The 2023-24 year is Year 3 of the adopted LTP.
Council usually increases its fees each year based on an estimate of general inflation and sector specifics (eg, government waste levies). Most fees for the 2023-24 year are unchanged from what was adopted in 2021.
However, we are proposing changes to a few fee areas, over and above the standard annual changes.
The full F&Cs document is available on our website and feedback is welcome on any fee.
All F&Cs will be reviewed, with direction from Council, as part of the 2024-2034 Long Term Plan process.
Copies of the full Fees and Charges 2023-24 document, Statement of Proposal highlighting the proposed changes and submission forms are available from the Council offices in Tokoroa and Putāruru, Tīrau i-SITE (the Dog) and Council’s website.
