Surname spelling error on Tokoroa Ward voting papers

An error on the voting papers and candidate profile booklet has been identified, Electoral Officer Warwick Lampp said today.
For the Tokoroa Ward voting papers, the surname for Josiah TEOKOTAI has been incorrectly spelt as TEOTOKAI.
“Unfortunately, the error occurred in the proofing and printing process.” Mr Lampp said. “I apologise to Josiah and his family for the error, this was identified after the voting papers and candidate profile booklets were printed, however it is correct on the Council’s website”.
