UPDATE, 3.51pm, Monday 23 March:
In response to the Prime Minister’s message, Council’s facilities – pools, libraries, events centre, Tīrau i-SITE, Tokoroa CBD toilets - are closed as of immediately. The Council office in Tokoroa and the Council office in Putāruru (not library) will continue to be open until Wednesday 1pm, then we will close.
Our phone – 07 885 0340 will be manned.
Essential lifeline services are Council’s critical focus.
We ask our community not to panic. These are unprecedented times. Stay home. Stay safe. Look after each other. Continue with the public hygiene messages provided by the Ministry.
