Voting papers coming in steadily

Voting papers that were delivered to those enrolled were mailed between 20 and 25 September. And the votes are flowing in steadily.

"As at end of business on Thursday 26 September 1,409 papers had been received," said Council's Electoral Officer, Richard Fisk. "So far we have processed 402 papers from the Putaruru Ward, 155 from the Tirau Ward and 739 from the Tokoroa Ward."

This equates to 9.5% of addressed voting papers mailed out have been returned.
