Jeff Gash announced as Deputy Mayor
South Waikato Mayor Jenny Shattock is pleased to announce that her Deputy for the 2016-19 term is second term Councillor Jeff Gash.
Deputy Mayor Gash is thrilled about working with and supporting newly elected Mayor Shattock.
"It is an honour to be asked to serve as Deputy Mayor of the South Waikato taking over from Mayor Shattock where she left off," said Deputy Mayor Gash. "The make-up of the new Council is pleasing and I am looking forward to working closely with everyone."

"Deputy Mayor Gash has served three years on Council, has a solid grasp on Council procedures and understands the role of governance.
