Rising consumption levels mean Level 1 water restrictions are now in place for urban Arapuni until the end of Monday, 13 January.
This means sprinklers can only be used between 6am–8am & 6pm–8pm (handheld watering is fine at any time).
While there are currently no restrictions in place for the rest of the South Waikato, we're encouraging everyone to be water smart and conserve where possible.
Council will review and communicate the situation at the conclusion of the current restriction period.
