Local Alcohol Policy

In New Zealand, a Local Alcohol Policy (LAP) is a set of rules developed by a local council to regulate the sale, supply, and consumption of alcohol within their area. These policies are enabled by the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, which gives councils the authority to address alcohol-related issues in their communities.

The South Waikato District Council does not have a Local Alcohol Plan.
