Iwi Agreements

Council values an ongoing constructive, open and transparent relationship with local iwi partners. We work together collaboratively on many projects and liaise regularly at various levels of the organisations. Council has been actively building relationship with iwi in our district.

Current Iwi Agreements

• Council's Memorandum of Understanding with local iwi partner Raukawa can be viewed here.
• Council's Joint Management Agreement with Raukawa Settlement Trust was signed in September 2013. It can be viewed here.
• Council's Joint Management Agreement with Te Arawa River Iwi Trust (TARIT) was signed in September 2016. It can be viewed here.
