Parking infringement fees were updated by the Ministry of Transport in August 2024 and came into effect on the 1st of October.
Part A: Time parked in excess of limit
Not more than 30 minutes | $20 |
More than 30 minutes but not more than 1 hour | $25 |
More than 1 hour but not more than 2 hours | $36 |
More than 2 hours but not more than 4 hours | $51 |
More than 4 hours but not more than 6 hours | $71 |
More than 6 hours | $97 |
Part B: Inconsiderately parked

Part C:
Time parked in excess of limit
On a broken yellow line, in a ‘no stopping’ area, on a bus stop, double parked, on a clearway, inconsiderately parked, within 6m of the nearest side of a pedestrian crossing or within area marked out on approach to a pedestrian crossing | $100 |
In a loading zone, within 500mm of a fire hydrant, in a mall, contrary to a bylaw, obstructing a vehicle entrance, parked on an incorrect side of the roadway or any other parking offence which, in the circumstances, warrants action other than by the issue of a written warning notice | $70 |

Failure to display red lights on parked goods service vehicle | $75 |
